If FSU and Miami have been solidified in the ACC, that means that USF is now the prime choice for the B1G if they want to expand into Florida.  I don't know how long it will take to become an AAU member, but from what I understand we are closer than FSU would be.

Maybe that's why we are starting to play  B1G teams.

Go Bulls!

Even though I know I'm being negative, thanks for the LOL of the day.

Why would Mizzou leave SEC? Too many ass kickings? They seem to have a "SEC" type fanbase....think that they should win a title every year...even when they are poop :lmao:

Just for the record, we are playing Big 10 teams because they said yes.

We don't have a crystal ball and can sort out any scheduling issues moving to a new league might cause, but it isn't a factor in who we are or aren't scheduling out of conference.

Nobody is leaving the SEC....

I would agree with most teams not leaving the SEC, there would be a few that would because B1G is still the prized conference due to CIC as much as football. Most think B1G would look at Mizzou and KU as options but with GOR in Big 12 KU might be hard to get, therefore Vandy for contiguous and new state and basically if SEC would lose Vandy & Mizzou and got TA&M and get back out of the 14 team scheduling issue might be good for them.

Then hope Big 12 adds USF/UCF.

Pondering a question

Note: WVU and TCUs shares are 50,67,80,100% each year for next 4 years

The Big12 Tier 1&2 TV contract is $20 mil a year and with Sugar bowl and BCS money it gets another $9 mil (based on 10 teams). Does not include other bowl money or each teams own Tier 3 rights.

To get more money the Tier 1&2 money with championship game would need to be $25 mil a year with $7 mil (based on 12 teams), therefore adding $3 mil value per team, meaning $32mil a year not including Tier 3.

So Fox would need to add $50 mil (10 teams $5 mil) for existing and another $50 mil ($25 mil 2 teams) to make those teams "whole"

what if Fox does not make USF/UCF whole and expansion happens but the existing 10 teams get the $50 mil and USF/UCF gets $15 mil (7.5 mil each) for Tier 1&2 for next 11 years. Do you take it?

FYI the SEC has no exit penalty. Anyone can leave anytime they want, but it ain't gonna happen. Things are going to good in the SEC. I think Mizzou is your only maybe but still, nobody is leaving the SEC.
