Coin Toss

If we win the coin toss do we kick or receive? CJS opts to kick regularly.  Wonder what the thinking is there? I say receive and see if our offense can get some momentum out of the gate.

I didn't like that, although we do start badly.  If we marched down the field and scored and then fired the defense up it would set the right tone.

Commonly you defer to the second half giving the other the team the ball first. Because if you stop them and schore you put them on their heals. Also it depends on how much faith you have in your defense.

I agree but our defense hasn't been ready for the challenge and we are so far behind by halftime it doesn't matter. Time for the offense to get a shot. If it goes well maybe the Defense is fired up and ready. If it goes poorly. Well at least the opponent didn't score in the first minute of the game.
