It’s not semantics as everyone knows any new boss is going to make some changes and the sum of those changes are their culture, if that’s what being stated then of course no one disagrees with that. However their is a qualitative assessment that the previous culture is bad and needed to be replaced with this new better culture. The reason the previous culture was determined bad is because we lost which would mean the reason this culture would be good is because we are winning. Since we are currently losing the most games we have ever done and not beaten a single FBS team and may not for some time, it’s a bit of stretch to say this culture is anything beyond different and I am not sure how anyone can pretend to see it as having been better or improved in any fashion. Winning is all that matters and if your culture changes aren’t resulting in improvements on that front we would all be better served by you working on something else.

Or if it's showing improvements in areas that could hopefully lead to that winning, you keep down that road as long as you're allowed to .... This whole thing is a process with a multitude of variables that affect that bottom line of winning.

No it is far too long in the process to have produced not a single victory, anything that was a worthy culture change would have moved past lag indicators in 1.5 years of games.

It's a word game...... and I'd like to see where it has been said that he's brought a winning culture. Closest thing I've seen is that he's trying to instill a culture that will eventually lead to winning. That opinion was then set upon by the snark patrol, which set Brad off.

In the full sense of disclosure, I did come across in a different thread where that terminology was indeed used so I guess that's where the panties starting getting twisted about it and I guess because Faza had the audacity to expound on culture on this thread triggered some.

Which of these FBS teams this year should we have beaten?

BYU certainly looked beatable and there didn’t appear to be a striking talent deficit
