Haven't been out on a basketball court in probably 20 months or so. I walk the neighborhood to try to get in some steps but used to also go to the court and dribble a ball back and forth for 20 - 30 m

No three-point line when I played.  And no dunking.  We had to climb a ladder to get the ball out of the peach baskets nailed to the wall.

I made a three at halftime shootout in the Sun Dome one year for two plane tickets! They called my ticket number. Was USF vs. Memphis, during the Chucky Atkins era. Probably around 1995-96ish?

No, we used the pink rubber balls that you used for dodge ball. I was Alfalfa.  You can't tell  now because there is no hair on top and cow lick is gone.

Ha! you dribble one of those balls you get a tremendous bounce..plus you get tired of bball you can just start throwing it at someone..and leave a mark.    Funny, how now in advanced years you say or see the word dribble it takes on an entirely new meaning 🙄

Good thing you started this nonsense topic because the other worn out repeat topics were getting lazy. July will do that...August gets us closer-practice starts...we have a visual.

Better day today. Still only 40% lefty from the line. But 70 right handed. Funny thing if you handed me a ball amd told me I had 1 chance from the line, I'd shoot it lefty.  The 3s I made at the Muma and up at UConn (still 100% in those venues) were both lefty.

.And only missed 5 layups - 4 right, 1 left. And I got 4k steps in, most importantly.
