I think a sloppy field may put us at an advantage. It will neutralize their passing game and force both teams to run.

Oh no! With the expected rain we will be forced to abandon the pass? What will we do?

It looks like they are speeding the movement up.  If the storm doesn't move as far west as expected... there is the chance that the game could be postponed.

Just something to think about.

Actually you guys pass more than we do. On the season, 150 attempts for USF vs. 126 for WVU. We love to run so a sloppy field suits us just fine.

The 5pm update for Tropical Storm Wilma shows a turn towards Florida around Cuba on Friday or  Saturday. That would mean that the edges of then expected Hurricane Wilma would reach Tampa around game time. The game might go on, but WVA might have to fly out of Orlando to get home.

Remember though, these are the 5 day projections, which can be off by hundreds of miles. So it might not affect Tampa at all.

Well the 11pm for Monday, shows the 8pm Saturday position to be almost due south of Tampa. Considering it is expected to be a Cat 2 or 3 Hurricane by then, IF it stays on the expected track, then Tampa will see at least rain bands for the game.

That assumes that the storm either turns that sharply OR that far south... if it moves further north or doesn't turn as sharp, the game may need to be postponed entirely.
