Watched on the American Athletic Conference Facebook feed (112 of us were viewing it by the end). The Bulls scored 31 points in the second quarter. Lots of love given to USF by the announcers. One of them predicted USF would win the WNIT this year despite losing Alvarez. That would be a nice way to finish the season for sure.

No way this team wins the WNIT.  It’s not full of cupcakes like ECU.

Alvarez, while very good isn’t the key to winning or losing in the post season.

Odds are, Alvarez, Lazic, and Serrat will be joined on the far end of the bench by Brabencova for the rest of the season.

I'd say there is somewhere between a 1% and 100% chance that USF wins the WNIT. Definitely not 0%. Predicting tournament winners is a fool's errand, though. I guess that's why they play the games.

Coach can't say what is up but he asked for thoughts and prayers.  And her mother has made the trip over.  She was lying down in the tunnel at times with dark glasses on. Was seen holding ice to the top part of her head and constantly had a towel around her neck when on the bench.  We can speculate but CJF said we would know when it is appropriate.  Feel horrible for her.

Holy crap! That doesn't sound good. She's one of my favorite players. I hope she gets whatever help she needs to get well.
