We finally got to see guys progress, Williams, JB was awesome, Q was great, Collins was money at the end.  It is nice to see us suck early in the season  and finish strong vs the alternative.

Yes, but we had aspirations for BB this year, really don’t for FB, I hope they do progress, means we actually have a coach.

If you’re curious: the NCAA added NET as a criteria for the 2017-18 season.

Today vs. Memphis was USF’s first-ever Quadrant 1 win.

?? what does that mean as a non-bb fan.

Technically, in this case it means we beat a top 75 (more or less a NCAA Tournament team) team on the road.

Best case scenario, if this team wins out (IF), they string together some very impressive Ws (Houston, Tulsa, SMU and Wichita State) and play themselves on to the NCAA bubble and into the NIT. Looking back at the schedule, Furman and UConn are quality Ws but there’s also some puzzling losses (IUPUI, ECU). It’s amazing they still have opportunities to make something out of this season given the way they played over the 5 game losing streak. Let’s just hope the 3s keep falling and we keep dominating the boards.

That said, I think the roller coaster continues and .500 is the most likely scenario.

So beating a beating a top 75 program on the road is huge for our basketball program? I thought the expectations for football were bad.... All jokes aside, Go Bulls. I am not a basketball fan, but always good to win and support the Bulls.
