Ha...long story. We were actually in the area and spent the night along the road...and what a zany night it was. We were headed to Boston from FL in my van. Heard about a music festival from a hitchhiker so we went over there. It was a mad house of humanity. I had my dog so we didn't try to go the rest of the way. Hit the road the next morning. Just got out of school so we were free wheeling for a time looking around. Must remember: many "hippies" were pretty much bums and pan handling beggars. Some were true peace puppies. I was more motorcycle oriented so I had a different perspective. Funny..Hadn't thought of this stuff in a long time.
