Good news, does have an offer and visited on 3/22/2019. Bad news, was being recruited by Shaun King.

I think it said he was considering those two, not that they were his only offers.

Not picking apart the paper. I looked back a few posts on the thePen, didn’t see the name, and don’t follow any of the recruiting sites. So I posted. Deal with it.

If by picking apart you mean providing some info from a site dedicated to recruiting that may or may not be more aware of what's going on with him than the paper, I accept your congrats..

Interesting article in today's TBT about how the portal has affected recruits straight out of hs, and Core specifically ..... also illustrates how you never know what to believe when it comes to following recruiting:

TAMPA — Jalil Core wanted more than anything to play Division I-A football in Florida. The Armwood High safety fulfilled the necessary requirements by putting together a resume that few others could match.

Playing for a defensive unit that ranked among the state’s best, Core was named the Tampa Bay Times’ Hillsborough County defensive player of the year the past two seasons after leading the Hawks to the state final in 2018 and the state semifinals this past season. He also maintained solid grades and reached a qualifying score on the Scholastic Aptitude Test.

State schools were interested in the three-star recruit, but nothing resulted in a committable offer because their allotment was full, at least for high school athletes.

All were reserving their remaining scholarships in the 2020 class for players who might become available via the transfer portal.

“Recruiting is a much more complicated and difficult game now that there are so many transfers available,” Armwood coach Evan Davis said. “More than anything, it’s hurting high school kids because it’s leaving fewer opportunities.”

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
