It looks like Appalachian State's dreams of New Year's Day Bowl might have been blown away last night by the frigid winds of Boone and Georgia Southern's running attack.  Now that SMU - Memphis tilt looms even bigger.

I guess this means they are no longer a candidate for AAC expansion anymore.

App state and Georgia Southern would be middle of the pack AAC teams and would have probably beaten us the last two years.

no , but who are we to decide who's worthy? Them joining the AAC isnt doing **** to our stock

Well, we shouldn't really "want"anyone brought into the conference that is not going to help improve our lot in the football world

My point being they are upgrade compared to half of the conference, including us.
