You must remember that if USF, WV, and Louisville tie at 6-1 in league play, the BCS takes the higher ranked Big East team. Lets just not go throwing oursleves in the ring yet until we take care of business on the field.

OK so riddle me this.... if we beat both WVU and UL, and then end up losing to some other team like UConn, would UL still be chosen over us? Given that we would have beat both of them, and the rankings are BS anyways....

I think I'll need a Taser if UL gets chosen over us and we've got the same W-L record....

In a tie with two teams it is just head on head in a three way tie I believe that is when rankings come in

That's why we had better not overlook Pitt, Cincy, or any game.  If our guys can take care of business, it doesn't matter what the polls, sportswriters,  espn guys, or other "experts" say about USF.

It's called optimism.  I know it's been a while since we had reason for it... especially after the Army game last season...

But there is nothing wrong with talking about all the hypotheticals.

The problem would come when someone posts that they have made hotel or airline reservations.

Then you'd sound like a UCF fan in 2002 and 2003 booking tickets to the MAC Championship game at the start of the season!  LOL  UCF back to back preseason mac champs in 2002 and 2003

If ND runs the rest of its schedule, there is no way they play USF.  It would more likely be Texas, VT, or UGA.
