Not exactly I do not care for it so much when my message is misrepresented repeatedly, I am accused of being combative for a legitimate point of view or something that could not be any more clear is presented as vague because someone refuses to see the point being made. But for the most part you are right I engage in attention seeking behavior and I probably prefer the negative attention to being ignored.
