Warning, a hot take follows and while its too early in the season to be considered, here we go:

We don't have enough pieces to support a traditional pocket qb.  Offensive line is lacking, wide receivers are lacking, traditional run support is lacking...

I think we need to focus on a system that depends on mobile qb play to keep defenses off balance, and mask our missing pieces.

I think some others would agree, but this got blown off the first page.

How about one that could hit a wall before we say that...Blake had his worst game as a USF bull.  I thought he had gotten better but he looked much worse.

But if McCloud gives this offense the best chance to compete oh well thanks for last season Blake.

Couldn’t agree more. BB gets a half at Tech and if we are still pitiful it should be McCloud moving forward.

I would start Blake. If anything he can escape..but no way CCS does this.

Actually your right Blake should be given one more chance...if he can't get anything going in first half next week then McCloud plays all the second half and maybe takes the job.

My bad...meant to say “McCloud” because of his escape ability but I am good with your point. If Blake is not getting it done in the 1st half put the kid in.

Blake is done. Stares down one receiver long wind up in his throw no clock in his head and he is slow

Bell will pull him next week if we see more of the same from him.
