I agree it most likely wont last long term. 

My only point is that this leaque is better prepared than the aaf....and supposedly learned some lessons from last time. 

The usfl had a run for awhile.  But that was a different time and they were able to sign some marquee players.  If they stayed in spring they could have lasted longer.

Does it have any connection to the NFL?  That seems to me to be a key driver to success.

Isn't the NFL Network televising some of these?  Good chance I am mistaken but thought some games were to be on that network.

No...they have ESPN, FOX, and ABC.
