With the athletes we can recruit it’s better if we get them in to space and use their speed and have a qb who is a serious threat to run. Not to say BB can't work but this offense is complete junk. I can't remember when we last ran some basic offensive plays like a screen or some slants pass or an end around. Just go recruit the 5’10” Qb’s that run the spread at all the local high schools that all of the big P5 schools are trying to recruit to play a different position. Strong said himself he recruited Flowers to play defense. I agree, but we seem to hire coaches who like to make our QBs pocket passers (Holtz, Taggart first 2.5 years, Strong/Gilbert).
