As much as I think Willie was learning on the job and wasn't worth what we were paying, he at least learned that players respect and appreciate a coach that goes for the kill - just like he expects the players to do.   If I'm on the current squad, I'll lay on the couch at halftime.

I never wanted to see him leave TBH. He adjusted his style to the talent we had. That takes guts as a coach so I give him kudos for that. I think if he stayed last year we win the American. But now that he’s gone he’s in a worse situation and so are we.

how is he in a worse situation? his 5-6 team plays with more emotion than we do. he will kill it at FSU

Just beat BC too, a better win than what we’ve had all year. FSU looked BAD this year though, but yes he could turn it around still. We won’t.

that program was a mess. they got blown out by BC last year. won't take him long to turn it around with his recruiting chops and that schools ability to draw recruits. they play with a lot of emotion.

100% agree. I’d KILL to have xCWT back on the sidelines running the GCO.

My fiancé is an FSU grad and she’s not as convinced, but I told her about the one game against Syracuse when the light switch came on and we were never the same again.

Time will tell with Willie at FSU, but I’m on the xCWT bandwagon still...

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
