Give UCF some credit.  They were able to do some nice things against South Carolina.  I thought after it was 14-0 that it would turn into a blowout, but to my surprise, they hung tough.  I thought O'Leary made some bad coaching moves in that fourth quarter, but the kids played tough.

Corso commented after the game that he could see an upset by UCF in two weeks at.....South Florida.  Hope that doesn't happen.  I know alot of this board bashes UCF, but after last nights performance give credit where credit is due.

I know you're a diehard USFer.  But you've got to understand that turnovers happen.  The game plays itself out, there were no "gifts".  This USC team is about as good as the USC team of last year.  The big difference maker is the Spurrier play calling.  The guy still has it.

Good game.  Time will tell if UCF is pretty good or USC is really bad.

They played better than I expected.  I think O'leary is a good match for them.   We'd best be ready for them.

USF will be lucky to beat UCF.  UCF has a better quaterback, has better recievers and a better front seven.  UCF was able to pound the rock against SC.  They won't have any trouble running against us.

As happy as I am about what I saw last night, it was only the first game.  Many things can happen in a first game.  What usually tells about a season is the second game.  By then teams have film on you and can prepare a more complete game plan.
