Reversed TD

Did any coaches address the deal with the TD that was reversed in the first half?  There was offsides called on UMASS.  Should have been first and goal at the half yard line.  We should have 4 shots to punch it in at that point.  Instead they marked it as second down and we screwed up the next 2 plays with a sack on third down.  

Did the coaches fall asleep during the review so didn't challenge the down?

They declined the penalty and took the play thinking it was a touchdown. 

Thus, when it was reversed it made it second down. I guess I'm not well versed enough on the rules to know if they could accept the penalty after the touchdown was reversed, but if they could have then yeah...they screwed up.

Mistake by the referees and the coaches. They all forgot about the penalty after the reversal. You can change your mind about a penalty after a reversal.

Jesus that is terrible. We were all talking about it in the stands right away and we are not even coaching.
