I get it she is still getting to play a game she loves but a recent college grad in business would be making more. Its happened, Taurasi took a contract in Russia and sat out of the WNBA a little while ago.

Wouldn't that put her at $55k? 55k in Connecticut still wouldn’t go very far, but that is a bit better.

LRS), I'm glad she's having success doing something she loves. Lee Roy started working in the business world in the off-season while a Buc. One of my granddaughters played one year in Europe and then left (per her plan)to begin her business career. She has never regretted her choice. (Yes, I do realize that I don't have the skill set, but my point is, when compared to the real world most of us live in, that is very good money)

So in your rookie year you don't get paid? Rookies get paid rookie salary in their rookie year. I would think 3rd year you get 3rd year pay but I really don't know. Salary levels are minimums...not all players of a given experience level are paid the same. If you’re really interested....a simple Google would be the prudent thing to do.
