Just now, Brad said:

Srriously, I am reluctantly in another Tinmen twitterspar about their wonderful success in the AAC.  🤣

Of course, I don't value conference titles as much as others, but they are nice/okay.  If we could have made it to Omaha, I couldn't give two 💩 about whether or not we were "AAC Champs".

Yes, this 100%. Heck, i just want to make it to a super regional. Any new unfamiliar territory.

Right now today it is frustrating to go out like this. USF finally got a break from being placed in the Tally or Gville regionals and fell  flat when given the opportunity. What makes it worse is seeing FSU getting eliminated the one time USF is not placed in Tally regional. Just was a blown opportunity but still good season after I get over it today

So a guy with an era of 6+ held us to 1 run?   Shocking.  I bet SM was in the dugout again.  Told ya' we should have left him in Tampa.  Can't wait for that National Title next year once he goes pro!

Of course he was. He threw 5 innings in the past two weeks, what more do you want from him?!?

Baseball is definitely our best shot at "doing it"

Has been since 1966.  Hotbed of talent.  Read earlier about all the Tampa HS talent.  Year round play down here.  Should be a way to "do it".

We used to complain about "The Red".  Wasn't a top notch stadium.  Build it Billy.

Yes, plenty of talent, but let me be clear.  It's the best opportunity of the "big" sports to win a title.  Much better chance to compete against the big boys in baseball than in football or basketball.  But it is still very difficult to win it all.  It is kind of ridiculous how long we have gone without a conference championship though.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
