Being the 150th team in RPI usually means there's a talent gap no matter where you're looking on the diamond.

I like what you did there trying to bait someone into commenting on their starter having to come in in relief. But that's what happens when you have to make up for more innings than you hoped.

Nah, I don't need to bait anyone.  I was commenting on the fact that it took to the 11th and deep into the pitching staff of the 150th RPI team for some clutch hitting.  But hey who cares, we should only be concerned over how many innings our #1 draft pick throws

It was big for him to throw his season high in pitches when we needed him. Keep us from using more arms. He was done for the next couple days after throwing 3, so good for him by taking one for the team and going out for another.

Our closer could have started today. He only threw one less inning.
