HuskyFan Posted May 25, 2018 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 4 Reputation: 6 Days Won: 1 Joined: 02/27/2017 Share Posted May 25, 2018 USF didn't place a bid to host. The Bulls wouldn't have hosted even if you won the AAC tourney.

HuskyFan Posted May 25, 2018 Group: Member Topic Count: 0 Content Count: 4 Reputation: 6 Days Won: 1 Joined: 02/27/2017 Share Posted May 25, 2018 Deland seems like a great spot for the Bulls. I think FAU will be a 3 seed.

I've never heard of this in baseball. This article says the NCAA picks regional and super regional hosts and if a super regional host loses in the regional, THEN the remaining teams bid to host the super regional. It could be true, but I've never heard of that and don't see why USF would not "bid" to host a regional if this was the case. https://www.thoughtco.com/sites-for-regionals-and-super-regionals-selected-320040 Edited May 26, 2018 by chapelbull
