Men’s Basketball Adds Florida Native Zack Dawson

TAMPA, May 18, 2018 – University of South Florida head men's basketball coach Brian Gregory and his staff announced the addition of 6-foot-3, 185-pound guard Zack Dawson to the Bulls on Friday.

"We are excited to welcome Zack back home to Florida as a member of the Bulls family," Gregory said. "He is a dynamic and versatile guard who can impact the game in a variety of ways. Zack comes from one of the best high school programs in the state, South Miami High School, so he immediately brings a championship attitude here to the University of South Florida."

A native of Miami, Fla., Dawson joins the Bulls after spending his freshman season at Oklahoma State. He will sit out the 2018-19 season. Dawson appeared in five games in 2017-18 at Oklahoma State, averaging 4.4 points, 1.6 assists and 0.8 rebounds per game. His best game for the Cowboys came on Nov. 16 against Oral Roberts, when he scored 11 points in 15 minutes of action.

Yes we are and I believe he will. The 3rd season is looking like it will be USF coming out party. Although I'm not counting out this coming one just yet...
