LOL!  I don’t consider 1 and Done,  or 2 and Done competing fo a title.

Low expectations!

You couldn't be further off base. You clearly don't understand the reality of USF's position or the economics of college athletics.

Brilliant!!  Let's get Saben from Alabama and Coach K from Duke while we're at it.

Coach K may not come as he may think USF entrance standards are too tough to overcome

I would argue that we had a chance Courtney's last season here. We certainly were much more competitive then. The team just doesn't have "it" this season. College basketball is the one sport where just one player can make all the difference.

We have pretty good role players. As others have said in the thread, the lack of a clear leader on the court is a big problem. Courtney was a leader, as was Alisia, and their influence was clear.

Maria is probably the closest (sometimes Laia) this year, but neither one seem to take the reins possession after possession.

Walk into the Sun Dome, look up into the rafters on the North Side of the building, see all the WBB postseason banners. Then stop and realize that we had 0 be Jose, he hung every one of those banners.

This discussion is crazy. Our expenditures on WBB per win may be one of the lowest in the country. We continue to achieve above where our commitment to this program should put us.

One more point - my look at the current AP rankings.

We are #28, Green Bay is #22, UConn is #1.

So, in the top 27 right now, this is only one non- Power 5 school, not counting UConn, who are in their own world.

Money buys resources which translate into wins.

It's not really a discussion. Just a troll lobbing a hand grenade ...

I just think it's crazy that we are judging Fernandez's success by comparing his accomplishments to that of the most successful women's basketball coach of all time.

Since joining the AAC, our teams have consistently been near the top of the conference. Remind me why that's a bad thing?
