there's no way in hell I can pull for any joy for one the worst fan bases in the universe.

Problem is, the other side of the ball may have an even worse fan base. This will be probably the MOST stake-free superbowl I've ever watched.

But I'll watch and be delightfully entertained by the reactions in the stands when junk goes wrong for them. And the commercials.

Eagles have not won anything since 1960. If they do win those crazy ass people will set that city on fire.

Don't forget, our @Bausfkid lives in the City of Brotherly Love (I think).  May he stay out of harm's way.

I've watched every Super Bowl for the last 40 years whether I was conscious for them or not. I've only seen 2 that I cared about the outcome. Who's in it matters very little to the TV sets tuned to the game.

You've been well-propagandized. Such a well-adjusted child you are, LOL

It's only propaganda if your mindset has to be changed.

Same. First Super Bowl I remember was VII Dolphins vs Redskins. I attended XXV in Tampa and was in the endzone where Buffalo went wide right. In fact my face is visible in the NFL films shot of that kick.

I do keep forgetting that New England fans =  Boston fans but I've had a lot more negative interaction with Philthy fans so more familiar and they have to be some of the lowest dregs of society ....

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
