And I’m not talking about attendance numbers, I’m talking legitimate fans. I see more Rays shirts, hats, flags, etc. in Tampa on a regular basis than I ever saw in my entire life living in Miami/Ft. Lauderdale. But since you brought it up, solid work selling 5k more in a metro area with 2.5 million more people (not actually attending, though). Not to mention, congrats on averaging 16k a game during those two WS runs that really galvanized the community. For sake of comparison, the Rays had better attendance in 2008 than any year in the history of the Marlins franchise.
