Stacy Kirby was a surprise, I had heard talk he was pushing out to February. Very good player, former FSU commit, had his share of P5 offers including Miami apparently.

Kirby is an example of how the early signing period helps non-P5 schools.  Between now and February, some P5s would have been recruiting him.
