The last two offensive possessions were a joke. Out coached all night long

Metheny wasn’t exactly stellar either. But certainly concerning.

We've never been particularly good, but if you look at the teams through the 1990s and early 2000s, we never won much in conference play, but we very rarely lost to the Elons and Morgan States of the world. We could a least count on 9-10-11 wins in the non-conference. This is a fairly recent phenomenon and a really disturbing one. It's one that makes you just want to call it quits. Can we not jump on coaching just yet?

The last two offensive possessions - following timeouts - we're the same curl with Samuel he ran all night when everyone in the building knew it was coming and then Jiggetts dribbling the length of the court and trying to get up a contested shot in he lane? Not very creative.

We do seem to find coaches with rather limited "vocabularies" who have a certain system that they rarely stray from. I can't imagine that we're all that unique there. Maybe that's why the few guys who are inventive, imaginative are at such a premium. Coaches are creatures of habit, I guess, who don't stray too far from their comfort zone. Al least it seems that way at USF.
