Need to go back and look, but I think Auggie and Nico were pulled a lot of the 2nd half.

Correct...they were way too slow

Wish they figured it out faster...

This game epitomizes Auggie to me. A heady, though relatively unathletic, player central to the defense. But a liability in many instances.

He doesn't deserve the recognition he gets from some. Sorry, he's a worse Ben Moffitt. No slouch, but a far cry from the Mitchell, Nicholas, Barrington, Lattimore, J. Williams, K. Wilson, etc of his position.

Wish they'd figured it out by watching film and game-planning. Getting torched the first quarter hurt badly.

Kudos for the adjustment, it was proper. Criticism for not realizing that from seeing their speed on film.

Generally speaking this coaching staff was better this year than last year with CWT in terms of in game adjustments

USF career leader in tackles doesn't deserve the recognition he gets?  I've never heard anyone suggest he is the best linebacker to every play the game.  He is what he is, a guy that played as much as he did because he worked incredibly hard, played his guts out and got every ounce of production he could from the talent given him.   I'm not sure why anyone would want to denigrate someone that accomplished all that.

He absolutely deserves all the recognition he has gotten and more for accomplishing much, much more on the field than lots of players with more physical ability.

I'm not denigrating him. I'm suggesting that despite him being #1 in tackles that he's probably ~#10 overall as a LB.

He played lesser competition. He had less internal competition for his spot. He wouldn't be career tackles leader with Tyrone McKenzie on the team (my personal favorite LB at USF).

They were pulled out after UCF's third TDs in 1st quarter.
