Please don't remind me of that year.  Watched or listened to every one of those games.  Since we've moved to Florida in 2002 I don't think I've watched one of their games from start to finish and probably can't name 3 guys currently on that team.

Bold prediction:  We will finish 100 spots above that.  If you believe that coaches make a difference as I do, then I would say this team will surprise a lot of people this year.

At the preseason event we went to my wife and I had a chance to talk with Payton for 5 minutes or so.  Really good kid and he looked like a team leader in the practice that followed.  A lot of attention to detail on the defensive side of the ball.  Just drilled into them any time they made a jump stop on D as opposed to keeping their feet moving as they rotated.
