UCF might jump us by Black Friday if we both remain undefeated. Just saying.

Won't matter if they do. Hell, they can jump us today for all I care.

This one, we settle on the field.

The bigger they are the harder they fall, and the better we look for doing so.

I hope we're both undefeated - in fact I hope we'rethe LAST two undefeated teams - going into Black Friday.

Eyes of the Nation will be upon us - it'll be a greater stage than the CCG even.

Does human safety mean nothing to you? If we are both highly ranked and undefeated the game will sell out and who knows if that rust bucket will be able to support that kind of weight/pressure from bouncing. :FIREdevil:

I disagree. Depending on how long they jump us for, the mindshare gained over that time doesn't instantly disappear because we ended up on top. For N weeks the perception would be that they were better than us. I'd rather we're considered better the entire season. A 1-loss UCF is still ranked at the end of the season and a compelling matchup.

I think they jump us this week actually. There is a lot of love in the media for them.

Although Michigan did win, and will probably be excused for needing overtime, it was still not an impressive win over a weak Indiana team. Not the result we wanted but almost was. It shouldn't help them much.

They would have to go up about 6-7 spots.  i just don't see that happening.

In the CFP Poll, it is highly likely that will be the case when we play them.

In the AP and/or Coaches Polls, we still might be ahead of them.

Not sure what you’re saying here, but the bottom line is if we beat them on Black Friday game over we’re playing on New Year’s Day (assuming we win the next week).  Only conference champs can be the group of five representative on New Year’s Day.

I know it's a small detail, but I researched it, and only G5 conference champs is guaranteed a NY6 day bowl.  Another one, theoretically, could be selected as well.

Don't know if they would ever do that. Back in the days of the BCS you were guaranteed a spot as a G5 with a certain BCS ranking. Hence we saw TCU and Boise State get in and were forced to play each other rather than a traditional power. I think that the only way we would see that are 2 top 10 undefeated G5 teams in which case they would probably pit them against one another.
