Flowers' first pass that was caught by Alaka was an absolute shot-down duck.  Proofs to Alaka for actually making the catch.

MVS has run good routes this year, but dropped so many balls I'd wager it's already cost him a draft spot.

MVS reminds me of Andre Davis when it comes to not catching a ball unless perfectly delivered.

Agree with both ... and MVS's worst drop last night was a beautifully thrown ball in the end zone.  So he's struggling to catch even  the perfect passes.

I believe it was tipped.

I'll have to rewatch.   I know the very first pass he threw was batted down.  If it was tipped, that would certainly explain it.

May be selective memory again, but I can't remember the last time we had a wr corps, or even one, that would consistently make catches to help bail out the qb. Don't remember which Kanigit game it was but always remember their wr's continually making catches on balls that weren't well thrown.

Serious thought. Maybe it's because our QB's perform too well at practice. Maybe they should throw more bad practice tosses so the WR's get used to it?

That certainly is an original thought .... but I would hope that they already do have some kind of drills that incorporate less than perfect thrown balls. If not, you may be on to something.

Remember last year when we said I sure would love to have even an "average defense". Even a little less offense would be fine if we could could have a better defense.

I think the wish was granted. The offense doesn't bother me. I will take little offense with 6 turnovers and 43 points anyday.
