Last 4 years recruiting rankings Oregon / USF, from 247: 2017: 19 / 76 -- Oregon had (4) 4* recruits, USF 0 2016: 27 / 66 -- Oregon had (6) 4* recruits, some of them almost 5* ranking, USF had only (1) - Soloman 2015: 16/ 66 -- Oregon (6) 4* recruits, USF 0 2014: 21 / 42 -- Oregon had (7) 4*, USF 0 2013: 19 / 54 -- Oregon with (1) 5* and (7) 4*, USF 0 (This would be the RS Senior class) Yes, because we all know how reliable recruiting ratings are. He should have already learned that the power run game would not be a good fit. He went name-brand, bargain basement which seemed clever. But if it's the wrong fit, it's the wrong fit. Contract wise it was great. That won't matter if the program takes a major hit though.

Replace Rodney Adams with Barr or Solomon, lets Tice and DJ do their thing, and repeat 2016 plays. No need to reinvent the wheel here. lol, Barr can't even catch the football and we saw several times last year he can not create like Rodney on the hitches and jet sweeps. Solomon is a completely different type of WR. Tice and DJ have never shown the ability to score at any time. We went from having three players who could score at any time, with a nice assortment of players around them, to having one player who could score at any time and mostly the same assortment of players around them, except with less talent on the line. It totally changes everything when you don't have 3 guys like that. There is no way to defend 3 guys like that. We could probably have run that same stuff as last year and have the athletic advantage to have performed better over the first two games, but that wouldn't hold true throughout the season. You can't simply replace better players with worse, do the same things, and get the same results.

I would say you'd have an argument if we were close. Even as inaccurate as you might think they are, they're not that inaccurate. Oregon (1) - 5* and (30) - 4* vs. USF (1) - 4*

So lets see how they look next week...these next few weeks will tell us alot about what sort of team we have.
