Please let the season begin!! So much potential for USF this season. ALSO, in the next 2-3 years, don't be surprised at FAU becoming a very good football program. Think what you want about that coach, but he has some real players coming in (Granted they all have extreme baggage!!) 2020 @FAU... could be a very fun game! Interesting that I'll be interested in 3 of them (USF, UT and OU)...and a co-worker is an FAU alum & season ticket holder, so I'll be going to a game or 2 (but only to the extent it doesn't conflict with my USF game). FAU just got John Franklin III (of Last Chance U) is recently announced grad transfer, who will play WR. They could have a lot of talent for Kiffin to use. [...] Glad to know he got his degree. A professional career in football as a QB is tough, especially when he couldn't make it at FSU and Auburn. Kiffin brings possibilities and a chance for a big lift. Another worker is a Gator alum, and the 3 of us have a bet. Whichever team wins the fewest games has to buy lunch for the other two. I should be safe.

It always seemed like there was a point where he stopped caring . I applaud FAU for taking the chance; especially with being in Florida and having solid talent around you. His dorm is about 50 yards from the stadium. I have been following them a little bit. If anyone watches Last Chance U, FAU just picked up the Franklin kid that was their QB 2 seasons ago and was a WR at Auburn last year. The got the kid from FSU that was probably the best QB in the country coming into college before his incident. They have 3 or 4 other 4 star kids. Talented, albeit tainted coaching staff. They could be fun to watch.

Guys like QF and Deatrick Nichols should be the poster children of picking a program based on fit. The spring game made it sound like Jason Driskell(?) was ahead of Johnson but who knows. Still, more "watch these guys" press is good press.
