Right either way--he's in a tough position, AND he's a tough position.

I think the difference between CWT's first year and CCS's first year is 1) the talent level is higher, 2) team leaders, and 3) the attitude our guys will have. Both QF and Auggie are hard workers and are strong-minded competitors, they will not let this team get full of itself like they were with CWT. That's not to mention our coaches--CWT was more like a cool big brother who could mentor & teach you if you wanted to learn. CCS looks more like the steady father that expects you to learn and work to do your best--the type of guy you want to be proud of you. That does a lot for a kid's mentality.

Summary: CWT's team rallied around Matt Floyd and made him captain and starter--that says a lot about that team.

Anybody else wonder why Charlie didn't go with a USF tie?  It would have been nice to see.  The one he was wearing was kind of ugly too.  C'mon Charlie, need as many USF logos as possible!

Good thing he wore that or there would be no USF signage.  I just think its better to over do it rather than only have one lapel pin.  Especially considering the other tie choice.  Didn't make any sense to me.

The green tie was nice; honestly think the green tie with the iconic U's all randomly that they use for the players headshots is kind of goofy. I do like he green and gold stripped one though. I dunno I thought the green tie with the lapel was fine. Honestly surprised he was in a suit! Heck Mike and Trey even cracked a joke about it and Strong says every preferred his khaki short and turtleneck combo. Really liked what I saw from CCS. He was serious about managing expectations and wasn't afraid to crack jokes with the guys.

Managing expectations better equal wins...because even with our fickle fan base that is pretty much required for this season.
