We have a home and away opening (given that Miami comes to RayJay that year). It would be nice to swing a home and home with them, with them returning in 2007. Miami fits the 'marquee' home game nicely next year.2006 ScheduleSept. 2 Fla. Still, not much of a buyout.A game against NCSU would be interesting, as well.

May 31, 2005ATHENS --- The University of Georgia has added both Colorado and UAB to its home football schedule for 2006 according to an announcement by UGA Director of Athletics Damon Evans. Evans said a signed contract has been executed with UAB, while an agreement in principle has been reached with Colorado. UAB will play in Sanford Stadium on Sept. 16 while Colorado will come to Athens the following weekend, Sept. 23. In return, Georgia will travel to Boulder, Colo., on Oct. 2, 2010. "I think these are two fine opponents added to our schedule," said Evans. "UAB's program has been building and they played in a bowl game last year. Of course, Colorado has one of the great college football traditions in one of the country's top conferences, the Big 12. We think both these games in Athens and the one in Boulder will be very attractive to our fans." The Colorado series was made possible by the addition of the 12th regular-season game as part of recent NCAA legislation.
