Any rumors or info on possible new uniforms for football and the start of the Big East? Seems to me I remember something about a new NIKE contract that was discussed before. Wasn't that suppose to start this year?    Reaper

The USF Gold...oh, my...that's almost as bad as the Marquette Gold, maybe not quite.  God forbid the Bulls ever becomes a demeaning name to a group of people.  I would love to have a school mascot named after what I am...but I wouldn't know what that is.  I guess the Anglo Saxons doesn't have such a great ring to it and doesn't sound so powerful, maybe the Russian/French Nomads?  No.  The indian thing is cool...it's a shame it gets such bad pub...I really have never understood how it is upsetting to the various tribes but it must be an issue for some.  So be it.

I would prefer green helmets to get away from the silmilar look of gold helmets used by the in-state schools such as FSU and UCF.

I really like our helmets, but then if they used a good deep green with the logo in gold that could look pretty awesome as well! Of course I don't see it happening, just too drastic of a change.

The gold helmets are the best part of the uniform, and watch out the name Bulls might cause some feminst groups to feel excluded.

I'm glad our women's teams dropped the "Lady" from the Bulls... (or at least I think they did)

Besides... aren't Lady Bulls technically called Cows??

I can't see any of us standing and yelling "Go Cows!" to our women's teams... we aren't South Park.
