I would be shocked if that is the case. Nfl does not need fans and most leagues do college night for just that purpose. True they do the pink uniforms and a few other things but that is nothing more than a big organization running their PR machine.

If you want to bring up Mike Jenkins you have to remember when they passed him over for Talib. Rumor has it that then GM Bruce Allen told Jenkins Bucs were drafting him only to see that was a lie when they drafted Talib. This was what got a lot of USF fans upset with the Bucs in the 1st place if you recall

Sorry, but Aqib Talib was far and away a better corner than Mike Jenkins.  Love what Mike did at USF, but these teams are paying millions of dollars to players.  Talib was the better pick.  Not going to comment on the rumor you mentioned, no way to substantiate it.

Pretty much what I thought, but BD seems to think the Buccaneers should make an exception for USF.
