Really wish our schedule was a little tougher next year. I'm just not sure our players or team are going to get the respect they deserve. It looks to be a down year for the AAC and the ooc schedule is highlighted by a Illinois program that hasn't had a winning season since it went 7-6 in 2011.

Our biggest test next year will be UCF at their tin can stadium.  I suspect it might be for the rights to play for the AAC championship.

We could go undefeated up until that point and lose and be back where we are now.

Here is the thing though, playing a big game like that, with the Heisman on the line, a NY6 bowl and the AAC championship will be good for the program.  If we win all three we have to be well positioned for the next round of expansion (a bump in attendance would be a huge help as well).  

We also, apparently, endeared ourselves with Texas give the rumor that they are interested in a 1-1 (or leveling out our series to 2-2).

Nice!  I also like the statement, and couldn't agree more, "[n]ew USF coach Charlie Strong would be wise not to mess with Flowers and the Gulf Coast offense."

Heisman for the long term prestige. That would put Q and USF in elite company.
