his deal with Houston rumored to be falling apart bc he won't agree to the large buyout

Houston boosters don't want to search for a new coach every 2 seasons.

Thank goodness this marry, f*%k, kill scenario will never come to fruition

I was in agreement with you last night, but with Rhule going to Baylor, Taggert still up for Oregon, we may be looking at a Kiffin vs Schiano cluster at the helm. I don't think the admin would let Schiano take the wheel of any Tampa team again, but who the heck knows.

We may need the National Guard to stand at the Tampa city limits signs and ensure Greg Schiano doesn't pass into the city.

Anywhere he goes at this level, they'll be asking for a large buyout ..... especially if he looks here if we have an opening.

They should do a buyout that steadily decreases over time.  Or get creative like WKU did for Petrino and make it so that whoever hires the coach away has to schedule a game with them within a certain timeframe.

I'm surprised that isn't becoming standard for G5 teams. With the option of the contract holder to waive the game.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
