Even after losing to FSU, a win vs Temple probably would've ranked us at #25 and kept us in line for the CCG. Houston is trying to play their way back into significance.

The the AQ for the G5 team has to be the highest ranked in the CFP Poll and a conference champion. So even if they are the highest ranked G5, it won't mean much.

Ah! Forgot about the champion requirement. It's quite the unfortunate situation. Just as it is unfortunate that we forgot how to make adjustments in our game vs Temple, costing us our best chance at a conference championship.

The funny thing is that to qualify to be one of the "top four" teams you do not have to be a conference champion. That was explained at a press conference today. They just use "conference champion" as one of the 'factors' to be considered.

Conferences champion requirement should be dropped as it is not required for playoff or other NYD bowls.
