Also, UCF lost in similar fashion earlier. Pretty good day.

The championship provides for a field of 64 teams. Thirty-one conference champions qualify automatically; the balance of the field is selected at-large by the NCAA Division 1 Women’s Soccer Committee. So, we would be included if we win the AAC tournament. I feel pretty good that we'd get an at-large bid if that doesn't happen.

That's payback for the Bearcats.

It will be close. If they lose in the Championship game, they might sneak in. Right now they are 59th in RPI and the AAC is a pretty good conference overall with teams ranked 15, 23, 33, 53, 59, 77. UCF was #53, but probably is out with yesterday's loss. The problem is that they don't have any good wins. They lost or tied the top teams in conference and had a gaudy record OOC, but against really inferior competition.
