It's funny when you think of the top backs the BE had and people still talked it down.

Speaking of top backs, Slaton and Devine deserve to make the top opponent RB list too. Melvin Gordon is a solid pro as well.

Slaton won me my fantasy league when he was NFL rookie of the year. Got him as an undrafted free agent

Memphis looks like they will be competition for Houston in the west, Navy might play spoiler too.  To me, the east looks wide open this year.  There are 4 teams that could take it with no clear frontrunner.

Now we will see what every team is made of going into the meat of conference play. Heck even UCiF fans are saying they can compete in the East cause they bet up on FIU, "almost" beat Maryland and "outhit" Michigan. Just like USF, Memphis has looked impressive against the teams they are supposed to beat; they'll get their top 25 OOC test at Ole Miss this Saturday. 

Houston has looked great and should run rough-shod through the conference. What can the Bulls do? ESPN FPI has us favored in every game the rest of the way, with the closest being @Memphis at only a 57% chance of winning. 

 

Note-a-Bulls:

@ Cincy : 67%

ECU: 88%

UConn: 92% (!!)

@ Temple: 70%

Navy: 84%

@Memphis: 57%

@SMU : 85%

UCF: 87%
