Think how much better we'd be with Kean as QB

:lmao:

if Flowers can improve his short passes, we would be avg 60 per game. but I am not complaining..

If flowers hits his short passes, we probably lay 50 on FSU too.

Right now the way I see it, we're scoring against cupcakes. NIU and Syracuse are 2-7 combined. Towson is FCS.

I feel like Flowers's accuracy issues are what is going to make it hard to beat FSU. Their DBs are good enough to break on his throws, the Orange and Huskies weren't.

All of this with a 50% completion rate on passes!

tebow's average completion rate his college career was an average of 66.4 percent and a total of 9,285 rushing with a stout offensive line. QF has an average of 57% and that includes his terrible freshman year of 40%. QF has 3,112 rushing yards.  Let's see how this entire year plays out, we had a lot of coaching changes.   In college football the QB and coaching staff make the difference regarding wins and losses.

He threw 20 passes his Freshman year. That won't move the needle over 4 seasons.

I didn't mean to start the bashing, I think we will continue to put up these stats because we are an explosive offense, if not efficient!

3113 rushing yards? Wow. Isn't that the USF record?

Long way since we scored 11 touchdowns the entire year.

That pro style, conservative offense CWT started with here was never going to work.  Glad he finally woke up.

Yeah, I know he wanted to establish that same offense but he wasn't going to get the offensive lineman here like at Stanford. He figured out what Levitt knew. Work with our strengths, mainly speed. Which is interesting that our identity has done a 180 and switched from a defensive one to offensive. Back in the day it was guys like J.R. Reed or Kawika Mitchel that you looked to for game changing plays, but now it's all on offense. Rodney Adams is so quick it almost looked like he could have moonwalked into the end zone. The depth we have now with skill players on offense is just ridiculous.

If that number is accurate, it would be a record. But I'm pretty sure it is not correct.

Is that from last year?

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
