If Mack can't go this week, I believe Willie needs to take D'Earnest off punt returns and kickoff returns.  We'll need him to be strong for 4 quarters.  We should be able to find other options on KO returns.  I'd rather not see Adams back there either to be honest.  How about Chris Barr?  He seems be the odd man out of the WR rotation, so he could work back there.  As far as punts, I think Tajee is the best option with his experience.

I'm hoping we'll only recieve one kickoff from NIU, either at the start of the first half, or the start of the 2nd half.   Punt returns should be a much different story.

Completely agree.  But, I felt that way before Mack got hurt.  Fullwood is our best PR, and I think Barr and McCants can be dynamic return men.  That said, CWT likely takes comfort in ball security with the vets.  That said, I see no way CWT has DJ returning any kicks.

Good call on McCants, him and Barr would be plenty dynamic back there

Forgot about Reed, yeah he could do it too.  I was surprised Johnson started returning punts, somehow I missed this in the preseason.  I'd rather not have him back there the rest of the season too, but especially if 5 is out

In the fourth Deangelo Antoine was back for kickoffs I can't remember who the other was.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
