I think Quinton Flowers may show people this year that he is the best qb in the AAC and not Ward from Houston.  I know it is too early, but I expect him to improve upon last year and really become the most dangerous weapon we have on offense.

Go Bulls!

I think Quinton Flowers will show himself to be one of the best players in the nation.  I'm betting USF heavy this year and not just because I'm a fan.  Flowers showed me something last season, it was the same thing I saw in high school... He is a really smart football player.  The game moves slow for him when he understands a system.

So Tennessee Martin has missed 3 FGs... or they would be beating U Conn.

You mean Cincy lol but Cincy has 14 now.

I wrote Cincy... strange.

Anyway... U Conn is also winning now.

From these first games, I have to say that I am not worried about USF playing these two AAC teams. They are AAwful.

Cincinnati has not improved their ball control... 2 fumbles and 1 INT in the first half.  UTM had the ball for 21.5 of 30 minutes.

I have followed most of the teams in the AAC trying to get into the Big 12 this season.  Cincy, ECU, and memphis I followed since their spring ball.  None of these teams are good... Houston maybe.  I think they win 9 games this season.  They'll still win the west because the aac west is garbage.  In the east the only other team is Temple and they are having defensive issues and problems with their passing game.  Every other team... I mean just look.  We have a shot to pull of the hat trick here.  We do that... buh bye AAC.

How about Appalachian State beating Tennessee at halftime?

Maine tied the game up at 14 with 40 yard pass.

So far AAC looking crappy.

First game week is always a wild one. That's why I hope we're treating Towson like they are SEC good.

Wow they just called a terrible defensive PI call on UConn (should have been a no call, even the announcers said, and it would have lead to a 4th and long) that gave Maine half the field, then Maine scores on the next play. Terrible luck.

These types of scores are actually pretty normal for aac schools these past years.  So much parity in div 1 plus some teams dont know they are bad yet while some dont have the confidence to be good yet.  Having said that I hope we get a fast start and make our peers look bad.

USF had better take note to not take Towson lightly. It will be a battle!!

"There is no inherent fear among this group of players. The fear of failing drove the program from day one - the fear of failing the coaches, the fan base, the university, each teammate, themselves. Now, as we head into the biggest game in our history at home on a national stage against the highest ranked team to step on OUR field, the players are taking an introspective look at themselves. Unfortunately, I don't know if they get it. They lack the fear."
