First, I am happy for him he was a good kid here and had a nice attitude. But after watching QF do his thing while taking punishment (SMU spinaroma) while remembering MW trying to get out of the way of defenders, I just see him as a bit fragile. Of course he did not fit the new system but the guy does need "a lot" of protection to be good. Again, I am happy for him and wish him well next week against Bama.

He was listed as a QB because that is what he was in college.  But I recall him actually trying out as a TE.  That was a few years ago, and I misremember more as I get older, so...

Inexpensive arm in camp to save the arms of the ones they really want to look at .... May have done some work at tight end, also. Certainly had the size for it.

That's awesome, I'm really happy for Mike. I was rooting for him here at USF, but it did become clear that we needed a different system.

He WAS living in Tampa before he left for WKU.

No defense, I confusded him with someone else--somehow thought he went to Jesuit high or something. This is not making me look any better so I'm going to shut up now...
