I know you said "right now", but really JPP is still pretty effective in spite of his injuries. Hopefully he can get back near full form.

Agreed, and I hope so too.  I'm skeptical though, because I don't think he'll really be able to grip with that hand, which is a huge deal for someone in his position trying to bring 200+ pound QBs to the ground.

I think he'll still be great at QB hurries and flushing QBs from the pocket, but I just don't see him putting up big sack numbers anymore.

Barrington was killing it in GB before getting injured.

The surgeries he had in othe offseason enables him to lose the club so he can utilize the modified glove to better grip. Giants signed him to a an incentive laden contract so we should be able to see what he can do with full recovery.

He was good.  Beast?  Not a chance.  There are very few "beast" CBs in the NFL, and he's not among them.  He's only been a Pro Bowler once and that was an alternate spot.

Ok, but we all know Pro Bowl voting is a popularity contest more than merit.

There's definitely some truth to that.  But usually, except for extreme cases like Manziel, popularity is a result of merit.
