Nate Allen has one more INT than Mike Jenkins over their entire careers, 11 vs 10.

Ant Henry had 10 his rookie year and 31 total. 

Jenkins and Allen have decent careers, but the bar for USF DBs, as far as INTs in the NFL is pretty high.

Largely this is because of some injuries he suffered early in his NFL career.

Yes, they both had lots of injuries, Jenkins and Allen.

He was good.  Beast?  Not a chance.  There are very few "beast" CBs in the NFL, and he's not among them.  He's only been a Pro Bowler once and that was an alternate spot.

I would say the closest thing we have to a beast in the NFL right now, as a USF alum, when healthy, is Sam Barrington for the Packers.

I know you said "right now", but really JPP is still pretty effective in spite of his injuries. Hopefully he can get back near full form.
