I would save about $600 a year. However, it is not like I would actually be saving the money as I would find some crap to spend it on. For now going to keep direct TV with the knowledge that I will not be missing any USF games.

Couldn't you just sign up for HBO now?

Yes, HBO Now is stand alone now. Vue has Epix and Showtime addons.

Back to Vue, it's cloud DVR holds shows for 28 days.

Anyone know how to get The Golf Channel without a cable TV or pay satellite subscription...a way to stream it?

Sling TV will also be adding ESPN 3 capability to its channel guide, so you don't even have to take the steps to connect your laptop/pad to your big screen:

I'm still looking for a good, legal way to get CBS Sports Network via streaming. Otherwise, I think Sling TV has me mostly covered.

Sling's only app you can access is WatchESPN so if you have a Roku, you can sign in with your Sling credentials.

Once Sling updates its user interface, you won't even have to log in separately to get Watch ESPN. It'll all be right within the app.
